FILEY 2025 Book Fair
The Feria Internacional de la Lectura Yucatán (FILEY) 2025 will take place from March 22 to 30 at the Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI in Mérida, featuring a wide range of cultural and literary activities. This free event aims to promote reading and the arts through book presentations, workshops, performances, and exhibitions, attracting renowned authors and artists. The Belize Book Industry Association (BBIA) will be attending with a stand showcasing Belizean literary works.
Book Week 2025
Book Week 2025 in Belize, organised by the Belize Book Industry Association (BBIA), will celebrate reading and literacy with activities like book fairs, author readings, and workshops. Traditionally held in April to align with World Book and Copyright Day, the event is expected to travel to various towns, continuing its mission to promote a love for reading nationwide.

Join us at the Leo Bradley Library in Belize City for a special Meet the Author event with Ian Gibson, author of The Land of the Night Sun. Enjoy an author talk, book reading, discussion and Q&A, book signing, and an exhibit of illustrations from the book, plus an opportunity to join a teen book club.
